Obvious spam call. Didn't pick up at all and I don't pick up any number I don't recognize. This call per caller ID was 9:59 AM on 7/15/2021 identified as "Fire Department". Don't pick up if they call you.

My phone rang and I answered it only to get NO response. I called the number back and got a recording that the number was no longer in service. So how does a number no longer in service call me on my cell phone?

I got the call today. Said, updating the info. I asked who is this? She asked if the address was the same. Also asked if I was the owner. I said, NO but give me your name and number, so they can call u back. NO Response. Then I asked what company r u with, she just said, chamber of commerce. I looked at the caller id, make sure to write it down for future reference.

This was an automated call about a medical alert system. Caller I.D. said "Louisiana Call." I tried to call back to tell the person not to call us anymore, but the call can't be completed when dialed.

Called reporting to be updating for the Chamber of Commerce. Asked too many questions. When I questioned her, she gave me a rude response and hung up on me.

Voice mail message left for an urgent response from the IRS stating immediate action was going to be taken against me if I did not settle my debt. That really made me mad. I know that the IRS does not contact anyone by phone, it is always through the mail with an attached statement. When they ask me for my information-- I plainly told them to "state their business." Not one time did the caller introduce themselves as an IRS agent nor did they give a badge number. Idiots. I was not giving out any information. You are the IRS and you called me, so you should know my information. Stop calling me was my last response

Similar experience. foreigner answered when I called back asked for his badge number and he tried to get me to confirm my address that he didn't have. Told him never call me again and that the irs does not call for any reason.

Same here. I asked him for his IRS badge number and he would not provide it. I told him he was NOT the IRS and not to call me again. I am a tax accountant and want to remind everyone that the IRS WILL NEVER CALL YOU without some kind of correspondence via mail first agreeing that they are to call you.

Received an automated voicemail saying that "IRS is filing a lawsuit against me." My mother called them and an and Indian sounding man answered asking for my name. Didn't answer when asked if he was American.

a foreigner answered when I called back, said he was IRS. Asked me continue waiting. finally told him no and hung up. I have no problems with the IRS, so I knew this was bogus call.

These people call to try and get you to set up an appointment so they can come to your house and show you the latest overpriced piece of junk they're trying to sell. They got my number from my nephews wife, who supposedly gets some kind of free gift if she can get so many people to let them come over and demonstrate their product.

Call claiming to be the IRS with information about a case file against me. the IRS will never call like this, definitely a scam, I wish they'd stop calling this number

They state they are the IRS but they are not as the IRS does not have a Robo call go out and they will actually send you a mail notice to call them. I called back and told them to stop calling as they are not the IRS and they immediately hung up on me!! The IRS will not hang up on you! Don't fall for this SCAM - I wish these people could be prosecuted and sent to prison for such fraud!

CALLED CLAIMING TO BE "CHAMBER OF COMMERCE" SAID UPDATING INFO. ASKED ADDRESS THEN ASKED IF IT WAS NEW YORK, NEW YORK. WHEN I QUESTIONED HIM ABOUT THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF WHERE HE SAID YES AND CONTINUED TO QUESTION ME. I HUNG UP.
