I also keep receiving this call. I finally decided they weren't going away and called the number. Placed on hold with a message, :An Agent will be with you soon." I know this is a scam, I'm just really irritated with the frequency of calls.

Caller left the message: "There are serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before we taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 347-298-7102. I repeat, 347 -298-7102. Thank you!" When I called back and asked who was calling the first time, the foreign voice said "Your father" and hung up. The second time I called the foreign voice said "The Internal Revenue Services". When I responded "Really! The IRS?" there was a long pause on the other end of the phone and then they hung up. By the incorrect sentence structure of the message, It appears that these messages have been recorded by someone outside of the USA and are calling to scam people through the threat of the IRS.

Robot Caller stating I have serious allegations against me and that I could be taken into custody. This is a NY number. This has been going on for a few months now. I wish there something I could do to stop this.

MONEY EXTORTION ---SCAM
People Beware!! TOTAL SCAM! People Beware!! TOTAL SCAM! !!!!!!!!! How can this be reported to the authorities? I called back the number thru an anonymous phone number and sure enough, as others have posted above, claiming to be the IRS. Done 3 calls, answering machine says nothing about being the IRS, and just to leave name and number. 4th call, woman answered, you guest it, with an Indian accent, claiming to be the IRS, and trying to EXTORT MONEY!!, So I asked for her employee number and Manager contact, and she hung up the phone. People Beware!! TOTAL SCAM! People Beware!! TOTAL SCAM! MONEY EXTORTION ---SCAM MONEY EXTORTION ---SCAM

IRS SCAM! I reported them to IRS. They threatened and false accused me. Beware of these low lives going around thirsting for your money!

They called claming to be the irs Heard backround nose people talking english person they sent 2 people in suits to my house with unmarked car stating this is the arrest warrent you need to come with us i stated let me varafi this with my local sherrifs office they said we have already done so lets go when i said let me empty out my pockets and came back with a toy gun acceced like i was going to use it they took off

The caller woke me up very early in the morning to tell me I had an arrest warrant out due to the IRS. He was not a native English speaker and was obviously reading from a script. I could hear call center chatter in the background. I told him I didn't believe him and checked the number he was calling from for records. This appears to be a very new scam as all other complaints came within the last 24 hours. It's fake. There is no way the IRS would conduct business this way.

The caller from this number claimed to be from the IRS and threatened me with prosecution.

I received a few calls from this number from a woman with a heavy accent saying that there is something wrong with my taxes. I responded with "I cant understand you and there is nothing wrong with my taxes." She started threatening me and told me "Do you want to go to jail?" I hung up on her.
