Hotel spammers. I was particularly annoyed as this was a work number. I don't know where they got it, but this number should NEVER receive spam calls.

Mark calls on weekends and Thanksgiving day. He has called probably 15 times. He just called again, I hung up, the phone is ringing again. I cannot understand the name of his company. On his initial call I told him that the computer that he serviced has not been turned on since my wife passed away suddenly on July 8th, 2016. He said it doesn't matter which computer it was. I have an iMac and my wife's computer was a PC.

A man, who calls himself Mark, insists that he wants to pay me $499.95 as a refund of charges he made to my wife for work he and his company did on my wife's computer in the past. He said the software he charged me with ($499.95) does not work and the "government" is making him give the money back. To get the refund he wants me to download a software package of something in excess of 49MB. I asked him to mail me a check for the $499.95. but he said he an't do that.

I received this text message a little while ago. I copied this.
"This is to inform you that we have received a case against you under section 9 of chapter 19(c) and we have to take you down into custody by tomorrow from the place of your employment with the help of the state police department in your state, you can either contact us back on 347-580-6273 or get ready to get arrested and charged for criminal allegations and imprisonment there of."

Scam call claims to be New York Bureau of Crime Investigations telling me that I owe money from a loan taken out 3 yrs ago and that if I send them money they can clear it up. If I don't send the money the State Police will come to my job and arrest me.
