These folks claim to be calling from the Social Security. The automated message says there is fraud detected on your social security number and your account has been suspended.

Cold caller trying to sell something. Refused to give his name, refused to put a manager on the phone, refused to honor 'do not call' and generally was harassing me. Finally hung up when I said I was filing a complaint with FTC - which I have. Duly noted Level 3 Communications LLC who owns this number has been filed upon and found guilty by FTC. I am pushing for a huge fine to be leveled against this company.

This number calls during work day, latest was 10 am EST and never leaves a message. Level 3 Communications LLC is located in multi US cities and I believe offers cheap telephone services for marketing and collection agencies, and is listed in several federal court of claims cases.

Someone named Birch Myers claiming to be from Mega-Millions saying I won 5.5 Million and a Mercedes.
Didn't understand why my letters to get to me informing me of my winnings and asked to verify my information.
I told him if he already had it he could send the letter(s) again-certified and then for some reason he hung up on me. Go figure!!
