after 3 rings, I said Hello 2 times then the line was disconnected on their end. did not sound like a person on the line, just no sound. A robo call to see if the number was good and someone would answer

Man with accent re Indian subcontinent. Could hear background sounds indicating a boiler room. Said he was with Publishers Clearing House, and was asking for personal info. When I pointed out that I had nothing to do with PCH other than mistakenly entering their sweeps two years ago, and that he was calling me on a number that was changed to fax only also two years ago, he became arrogant, and began to use aggressive language. I then told him I was a retired behavioral scientist...he replied something that indicated he didn't know what that meant...I told him "profiler." I also asked him to stop calling me "sir," as I was trans...and it had told me that he didn't have my full name (quite female) but only a phone number. He then hung up on me (surprise, surprise), and I blocked the number (although I assume it was probably spoofed...'cuz it shows as a landline in Nassau, NY). Ain't had that much fun since the outhouse blew up...

Called my cell. When the 1st 3 numbers is the same as my cell, I know it's spam. It's silence then hang up after 10 seconds.

May 25, 2012 - Caller ID: "Unknown" - I received a voicemail message from a male (slight accent) stating, "Hello, this is the Mega Bucks Sweepstakes Lottery Company, my name is Mark Benjamin. I am trying to get a hold of (name redacted). Congrats to you. You have won yourself a cashiers check of $5.5 million. Please contact the claims department at (516) 888-4343. Thank you. Goodbye." The person he asked for by name has been dead for 2 years, and completely paralyzed 5 years prior. Additional note: Crowing rooster in the background.

I think is spam, they left a message telling me that I was facing legal action by them. What idiots to leave a computerized message. I called back and got a voicemail. Left them my own message.

On March 4, 2021 I received a telephone call from a person that stated that my wife was the winner of a $5.5 million dollar sweepstakes. He asked that I tell her to call 516-888-4343 to speak someone that would guide her to receive her winnings. These types of calls are usually "scams".

I do not know anyone who has this number not do I know anyone who lives in Sag Harbor, NY. This is the third time they called my home phone. My answering machine picks it up,but no one leaves a message, but there is background noises of machines going off. How can I make whoever is calling to stop? I'm on a donor call registry, but evidently that's not working!!!!!
