Scam Call! Male with a Middle Eastern accent said that he was from the Federal Family Education Loan Program and I was eligible for a federal grant. He assured me that this was a grant and I didnââ¬â¢t have to pay it back. He said it could be used to buy a house or for education. I said,ââ¬ÂGreat, send it to Navient since I owe $50,000 in student loans.ââ¬Â Him: ââ¬ÅWhat dollars?ââ¬Â Me: ââ¬ÅWhatââ¬â¢s the confirmation number for the grant?ââ¬Â Him: ââ¬ÅYou have a confirmation number?ââ¬Â Me: ââ¬ÅNo, you have the confirmation number because you are giving me the grant.ââ¬Â Him: ââ¬Â I just need some detailsââ¬Â¦Ã¢â¬Â Me: ââ¬ÅSo do I. How much is the grant?ââ¬Â Dead silence for a few seconds, then he stutters, ââ¬ÅU-u-u-h-h, arou-nd $5,000.ââ¬Â Me: ââ¬ÅYou canââ¬â¢t give me an exact figure for this grant? I mean it is already approved, right?ââ¬Â Him: ââ¬ÅYeah, I just need some detailsââ¬Â¦Ã¢â¬Â Me: ââ¬ÅOK, you said that this was a federal organization, right? Well, Iââ¬â¢d like you to take the grant that you are giving to me and pay my Navient student loans.ââ¬Â Silence. Me: ââ¬ÅYou do know who Navient is? Him: ââ¬ÅUh, yeah.ââ¬Â Me: ââ¬ÅWell, you ought to since they are the primary holders for federal student loans and you told me this is a federal organization. So, are you going to pay Navient with the grant?ââ¬Â Him: ââ¬ÅYeah.ââ¬Â Me: "Really, thatââ¬â¢s great!" Him: ââ¬ÅI just need some detailsââ¬Â¦Ã¢â¬Â Me: ââ¬ÅWhat was the name of this organization again?ââ¬Â He hangs up.

I keep reserving text messages from this number of a picture of a guy and there asking me questions about him.
It better stop asap because the state police are being called. I'm tired of this number shooting me texts about someone I don't know.

Yes , a and i quote, Asst Mgr Mark Wilson attempted to have me believe my name was drawn from a FB drawing out out 50 names. He went onto tell me I was the winner of $2.5 million and a Kiea Soul car. He went as far as to send a pic (supposedly of him) holding a suitcase of money. He then gave me his Corp # as 551-226-7120 and for me tt his Mgr Dave Walker. He then advised once I paid $450, the FBI will allow them to release the money to me. I called to report this scam to my local FBI and was advised this scame is 1 of 10 already under investigation to just hang up and never take time to talk to them. Hope this helps nxt person.
