I tried calling that number back, but all I got was a loud Busy signal. I researched the Internet, but couldn't find a physical address for them. Finally I came across one of many websites that mentioned them and found that THIS IS A 'FULLY-OWNED NIGERIAN COMPANY' and that they're truly dedicated to the customers they serve. Whoa. *We are supposed to settle a lawsuit with the IRS with a foreign country known to be the origin of half of the scams out there? They usually send out notices that you've just inherited $50 Million Dollars and they'll forward it to you if you'll send them a $2500 handling fee first. What a bunch of crap.

I actually called # back....got someone with heavy accent....asked why they were calling and was scam....they hung up...really....cant believe someone is still trying to do this...

Just got the same spam call. I KNOW the IRS doesn't contact you by phone PERIOD. You can call them but NEVER the other way around!!!

Automated message. Seems there getting worse. I've talked to many people who are getting calls from many numbers 2-3 day. Getting out of control. With all the technology out there you would think the telephone companies could put a stop to some of this.

Obviously recorded woman's voice threatening about an IRS lawsuit. Total scam, the IRS sends out snail mail or shows up at your door or work place in person.

A woman's voice spoke my first name (only) and hurriedly said "I've been trying to reach you...." (my Caller ID shows no incoming call) ".......the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. You must call this number immediately." Then she repeated the number. *If this was actually the IRS, they'd be sending out a letter by Certified Mail and/or making a personal visit.
