Today, 08-01-16, we received a call from 715-827-1784 we didn't recognize it so we didn't pick up. They left automated voicemail (female voice) asking us to call them back "about a case the IRS has against us."
The cellular number originates in Wisconsin yet we live in Texas. We're not calling back, obviously they're "phishing" for info.

Same BS they said to everyone else. I called the number back and a man with an accent answered and I asked him why he called, said he had no idea what I was talking about, I could clearly hear it was a foreign call center.

Same as the others. Just hung up on them and they called again in a couple of hours. Hope they give up soon.

called twice today, stating irs is filing suit against me. only gave a number for more info. same as the other callers experienced.

Said that a case has been filed for my arrest and said to call me back at the same number.

i got a call from the same number saying that the irs is suing me gave me there number and nothing else.

They called me, and I called back, they can identify my name by the phone number, and told me that I didn't file file for past five years and the police will knock my door.....

Caller stated that I owed the IRS back taxes and that an arrest warrant had been issued. Said an audit was done and our federal taxes where miscalculated and we owed $4,925. They gave the names of Michael Harrison (ID# 98256) and Manager Daniel Sanchez(ID# IRM01953), said a notice was sent to our house of the miscalculation and we didn't respond so we will be arrested. BEWARE......
