Today, May 13, 2017, I received this call #. They called me 3 times in succession. Looked it up on Google, & saw several websites with either this # or similar. It is Spam! The # that was at the top of the list & then gave several #s that were similar is: 716-219-8553. And it has been reported as phishing malware. I never ever answer my phone if I don't recognize the #. Did this two times in 2015, when I was a newbie on smartphones. Learned my lesson, because the automatic 'caller' says if you don't want to receive anymore calls from them, you just press 1. So wrong! Kept calling me back on different days. I didn't answer. I called the Do Not Call # & gave them this #. But the FDC does its best to fulfill this. Just so many #s doing the same (all spam, fraud, harassment calls, robocalls, telemarketing, etc). If the #was legit, you will get a text from them. Just check all #s out on Google. Simple, free, & safely helps. By the way, these #s call in different ways. Meaning, ie, not just split with the dashes. The # can be all in a row, or with 1 in front of the area code. Best be safe than sorry. Will get mail, email, phone calls...All the same. Spam or worse. TG I have never gone beyond the #. Haven't called back, or sent money, and so on. Be careful! There are many scammers out there, wanting our money, our private info, all personal. Good luck to all! :)
