I received a text message that I have copied and pasted below. Is this the Scam at work?

I think it would be considered a spammer. What really disgusts me is that the call was on my cell phone and I don't give out that number to anyone except family and companies I do business with.

It was a recorded message saying there was illegal activity with my bank account. The Federal Reserve was involved and there was a warrant out for my arrest. When they told me to press a certain number to speak to a police officer, I hung up! I received the same recorded message from a different number yesterday (641-990-3765).

This guy is a creep! Keep your phone number on private setting on Facebook, that's how he got mine and started texting me trying to hook up. And his Facebook profile shows him with his girlfriend and his relationship status is IN A RELATIONSHIP!!! This guy is a cop and obviously a complete sleeze!!

Received a text message from this phone number with an website address listed: http://insrn.eu/3MtjKwX71. When I reported the number as spam it is listed to Fund My Payday. Not sure who they are but told them to remove my name and number from their list.

Mcimetro Access Transmission Services Llc called and left a recording saying this is the IRS calling to sue you and to avoid a Lawsuit call them back ASAP. They are not the IRS and I have never conduted any business with them.

Picked up. No answer on the other end. They hung up. I called back and the line was busy. Blocked and assumed it was a spam call.

Keep calling, no caller ID found, possible VOIP or DROP number, will not leave message. by experience probably a telemarketer or scam call

This number has called my wife's cell phone three times today (8/14/17). We don't answer calls from unknown numbers. Each time they leave a message, but the playback starts in the middle of the message, with only "call back, then the number is repeated," being heard. In spite of the number being blocked, messages are still left.

When I see the number, I said, "I don't know anyone in MasonCity Iowa." and hang up! They get charged for a completed call.
Ironically you are looking for scam calls and at the bottom of this page is another type of scam "View Your Public Records" free, then there will be a charge if you want the information! How' that.
