This number called a phone I had just set up - I hadn't given the number to anyone, so I answered out of curiosity. The call immediately disconnected. I called back and got a robocall message saying "please hold while we access your records. Thank you for calling Valentine & Kebartis." The call disconnected. I called back again and the same thing happened. I had to call again to get someone on the line. That person told me they were trying to reach someone with an extremely fake-sounding name. I've never heard of that person and our names are not similar at all, so I asked them to please remove my number from their list.

After looking into Valentine & Kebartis, it seems they were acting as a collection agency, but that doesn't really explain anything. They hung up on me several times and didn't know who I was when they called anyway.
