Got a call during the lunch hour (I missed it), that I believe is a scam. I've gotten these calls before, with the exact same behavior and message, from different numbers - I only answered one once and hung up when they started asking for personal info, including bank and SSN, without identifying whom they called for, who they were, or what, EXACTLY they want.

This caller did not identify herself, did not say who she was calling for, or what firm she was with, either. She left the following message:

"I have received an order in my office today to complete and process several pending matters you are currently being investigated for. I will be verifying your current address and place of employment today. In the meantime, it is your responsibility and legal right to contact the plaintiff prior to being served. Failure to comply will result in a forfeiture of your right to dispute this matter and a complaint will be filed against you in your local county."

I spoke with the FTC and was told: DO NOT ENGAGE - this is a scam.
